SKINCARE ROUTINE CON GILDA COSMETIC!!

Ciao a tutti boys and girls, eccoci di nuovo qua a scrivere un articolo a 4 mani per parlarvi di questo brand proveniente dalla Svezia con il quale abbiamo avuto la possibilità di collaborare, dopo aver conosciuto direttamente i soci fondatori al Cosmoprof 2015.

Nell’ultimo mese abbiamo avuto modo di provare diversi prodotti della linea skincare di Gilda Cosmetic, e speriamo che quel che segue possa aprirvi le porte ad un nuovo meraviglioso mondo per la cura e la bellezza della pelle!

Vale la pena sottolineare che Gilda Liljeblad (donna squisita che al Cosmo ci ha presentato i suoi collaboratori nonché suoi famigliari) lavora nel campo della Beauty Industry e Dermatologia dagli anni ’70 ed è annoverata tra le migliori “terapiste di bellezza” del nord Europa.

Fin dall’inizio si è trattato di una società a livello famigliare alla quale col tempo si sono aggiunti i due figli di Gilda, Ludwig e Benjamin, e negli ultimi anni Ron Koornstra, partner di Gilda, senza il quale questa collaborazione probabilmente non avrebbe avuto luogo, quindi ci teniamo a ringraziarli di cuore per questa grandissima opportunità!!

Passiamo quindi a mostrarvi i prodotti full size che ci sono stati inviati, ovvero la Aha Mask, la Nourishing Cream e l’Anti-Ageing Serum!! Inoltre, con nostro grande gaudio (o, nel nostro stile, cum gaudium magnum!!) ci hanno inviato anche un bel gruzzolo di campioncini J

AHA MASK: ATTIVANTE ED ESFOLIANTE!

Iniziamo dalla Aha Mask, che come dice la parola stessa è una maschera viso che stimola il rinnovamento cellulare. Diciamo che è un po’ diversa dalle tradizionali e pastosissime maschere viso a cui siamo abituati, essendo questa molto più liquida o comunque con una consistenza tendente al gel. Ci è piaciuta molto perché abbiamo verificato la sua efficacia sin dalla prima applicazione. Infatti, come specificato anche sulla confezione, il primo effetto è un leggero pizzicorìo – assolutamente da evitare il contorno occhi perché può risultare fastidioso-; va lasciata in posa per una decina di minuti e poi sciacquata con acqua tiepida: lascia la pelle del viso incredibilmente vellutata e con una bella sensazione di freschezza! 

Gli ingredienti caratterizzanti sono estratti di frutta biologica come mirtillo,canna da zucchero, acero saccarino, arancia e limone, più acido glicolico, che attivano la produzione di elastina e collagene per ringiovanire la pelle! Full size in formato 50ml e sembra ci durerà per un po’ visto che è sufficiente una piccola quantità per applicazione.

ANTI-AGEING SERUM: PREVENIRE E’ MEGLIO CHE CURARE!!

Nonostante siamo ancora cccciòvani abbiamo testato con piacere l’Anti-Ageing Serum di Gilda Cosmetic, perché prevenire è meglio che curare!!! Questo siero ha la stessa consistenza a base gel della Aha Mask e ne basta davvero poco per coprire l’area perioculare, il contorno labiale e altri segni d’espressione (per non dire rughette) da riempire! L’effetto è quello di un classico siero anti-ageing, di fatti sentirete la pelle tirare un pochettino, segno che il prodotto funziona proprio come deve. Di questo siero, che contiene acido glicolico, argilenine e leuphasyl, avevamo già provato i campioncini da 1 ml mentre la full size è di 15ml.

NOURISHING CREAM: L’IMPORTANZA D’IDRATARE!

L’ultimo dei tre prodotti per una skincare routine perfetta secondo Gilda Cosmetic è la Nourishing Cream formulata con olivello spinoso pressato a freddo e microincapsulato, acidi grassi (omega 3, 6 e 7), anti-ossidanti, carotene, vitamina A ed E, burro di karitè e squalane, derivato dall’insaponificabile dell’olio d’oliva.

Si presenta come una crema molto corposa, dal colore bianco-giallastro che ricorda un po’ le creme viso di una volta. Texture davvero ricca, infatti viene suggerito di scaldarla un attimo tra le dita prima dell’applicazione. Insomma un’ottima crema nutriente nonché base per il make-up, parola di Alex!! La confezione full size della Nourishing Cream Gilda Cosmetic è di ben 40ml.

La formulazione dei prodotti è, come vedete, al 90% di origine naturale, certo non mancano alcuni ingredienti poco simpatici come dimethicone (Nourishing Cream) o Diazolidinyl Urea, che è un cessore di formaldeide (Aha Mask) tuttavia presente in minime quantità quindi accettabile. Nel complesso troviamo che siano prodotti davvero ottimi e professionali, tant’è che oltre alle versioni full size inviateci ne esistono anche in “professional package”, ovvero dei maxi formati (ad esempio 200ml) per l’utilizzo nelle spa o in altri saloni di bellezza.

GLI ALTRI PRODOTTI

Vi mostriamo velocemente anche i vari campioncini, perché Gilda Cosmetic ha un’ampia gamma di prodotti che vanno dalla cura del viso a quella del corpo, compresi scrub, shower gel, creme corpo, mani e piedi, deodorante, nonché una crema post-epilazione per rallentare la ricrescita.

Per la skincare tra i campioncini abbiamo apprezzato molto la Perfect Protection Cream, dalla texture densa e di colore verdognolo, ma meno corposa della Nourishing Cream. La Perfect Protection Cream si stende e si assorbe infatti più facilmente, lasciando ugualmente la pelle ben idratata e rinfrescata.

L’Aha Gel e la Perfect Eye Cream sono altrettanto idratanti e se il primo, assieme alla Aha Mask  va a formare un’eccellente routine anti-invecchiamento, la Perfect Eye Cream applicata dopo l’Anti-Ageing Serum forma un trattamento specifico contro occhiaie, segni d’espressione tipici della zona perioculare, donando luminosità.

Bath and Shower Gel e Body Emulsion di Gilda Cosmetic sono invece il top per il benessere psico-fisico del corpo soprattutto a fine giornata. La schiuma soffice e profumata non può che farvi rilassare sotto la doccia o nella vasca, e la crema corpo dalla texture fluida e leggera lascia una gradevole profumazione sulla pelle, che risulta tonificata e naturalmente idratata.

SKINCARE ROUTINE WITH GILDA COSMETIC!!

Hey Boys and Girls, here we are again writing a 4-hand article telling you all about this fantastic cosmetic brand from Sweden which has given us the chance for a collaboration soon after we had the great opportunity of meeting the  founding members at Cosmoprof 2015 (the biggest Italian fair for makeup artists/bloggers/hairdressers/beauticians and all of us people who are into Beauty & Cosmetics).

In the last month we have had the opportunity of trying some goodies Gilda Cosmetic’s skincare line, and we hope that the following lines we’re about to write will be of any help to all of you who are interested – just as much as we are – in the wonderful world of skincare!

Before we go deeper into describing the products it’s worth and really important remarking that Gilda Liljeblad (a really lovely woman who, when we first met at Cosmoprof, introduced us to her coworkers who also are her relatives) has been working in the field of Beauty Industry and Dermatology since the 70’s and she’s included between the best “ beauty therapists” in Northern Europe.

Since the very beginning Gilda Cosmetic has always been a family run company that during the time has been joined by Gilda’s two sons Ludwig and Benjamin, and in the last years also by Ron Koornstra, Gilda’s partner, without whom this special collaboration wouldn’t have existed. That’s why we really want to thank them all from the deepest of our hearts for giving us such a great opportunity!!

And now it’s time to see into details all the full-sized products we got, i.e. the AHA Mask, the Nourishing Cream and the Anti-Ageing Serum!! And to increase our happiness in the box of goodies was included a big bunch of samples!! Yaaaay!! J

AHA MASK: ACTIVATING AND EXFOLIATING!

To begin with the Aha Mask, which as the title itself explains is a face mask that stimulates the cellular renewal. We must say that it’s a bit different from  the traditional and thick/creamy face masks we ar used to, as this one is much more liquid and with a gelly texture. We really liked it as we could prove its effectiveness rite from the very beginning. Actually as written on the packaging, the first effect is a light itching – to avoid the eye-contour as it might result a bit too painful -. After ten minutes or so you can remove the mask with warm water and it leaves the face skin sooooo silky and with a really great freshness sensation! The key ingredients are taken from biological fruits such as blueberry, cane sugar, saccharine maple, orange and lemon plus glycolic acid that activate the production of elastin and collagen to renew the skin! The 50ml full size is going to last for sure for a long time as you really need just a few drops for the entire face.

ANTI-AGEING SERUM:PREVENTION FOR A PERFECT SKIN ALWAYS!

Even if we are still young  (but we won’t be forever J)we were really pleased to test out this Anti-ageing Serum by Gilda Cosmetic, because prevention is always the best cure!! This serum’s consistency is almost like the gelly one of AHA Mask and you just need a few drops to “fill” those little facial expression signs (as we don’t want to call them wrinkles yet J) on the eye-contour, around the mouth and on the forehead. The effect you get is that of many anti-ageing serums, you can feel it working on your skin, which means the product is really functional!!  We had already tried this serum – containing glycolic acid, Argireline and Leuphasyl  - in samples received during Cosmoprof but… you know… full-sized products are always better!!!

Ingredients: Aqua, Polysorbate-20, Glycerin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Alanine, Benzyl Alcohol, Boric Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Creatine, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glycine, Glycolic Acid, Magnesium Aspartate, Pentapeptide-18, Saccharide Hydrolysate, Sodium Hydroxide, TetrasodiumIminodisuccinate, Urea, Dehydroacetic Acid, Phenoxyethanol.

NOURISHING CREAM: THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING HYDRATED!

Last, but not least, product for a perfect skincare routine in accordance with Gilda Cosmetic is the Nourishing Cream formulated with micro encapsulated cold pressed  Sea buckthorn oil, rich in fatty acids Omega 3, 6 and 7 Antioxidants, Carotenes an Vitamin A and E, Shea butter and Squalane from the Olive fruit.

This moisturizer is a really rich cream with a whitey/yellowish color reminding of those creams used once from  grandmas and its fragrance too is a little old-fashioned but nonetheless sooo lovely. As it is a bit too rich in texture also on the packaging there’s the advice of heating it up a little between your fingertips before applying it. What else should we say!?!? It’s the perfect nourishing moisturizer and also a really perfect base/primer for make-up, word of Alex (who’ll buy it for sure as soon as possible)!!! J

The formulation of Gilda Cosmetic’s products is, as you all can see, 90% of natural origin, of course there are some (just a little) “not so nice” ingredients such as dimethicone (Nourishing Cream) or Diazolidinyl Urea, that is a ries of formaldehyde (AHA Mask), anyway these ingredients come just in small amounts so it makes them acceptable. To sum up we really found those products to be so great and professional too, and that’s why as far as there are those “normal” full-sized products people can also find the “PRO PACKAGE”, i.e. the maxi format (for example 200ml) indicated for SPAs and beauty salons.

THE OTHER PRODUCTS…

We’re now quickly showing and telling you something about the samples we got going from face to body skincare!!

As far as facial skincare is concerned between the samples we really appreciated the Perfect Protection Cream, a thick greenish texture, but less rich than Nourishing Cream. Aa a matter of fact Perfect Protection can be blended and absorbs faster but it equally leaves your skin fresh and well hydrated.

The Aha Gel and Perfect Eye Cream are hydrating as well, and as the first one, together with Aha Mask form the perfect Anti-ageing combo, the Perfect Eye Cream applied soon after the Anti-Ageing Serum forms the perfect treatment against under-eye circles/bags giving brightness to your eye-contour.

Bath & Shower Gel together with Body Emulsion by Gilda Cosmetic are the best products for psychophysical well-being at the end of a stressful day. The soft and good-smelling foam cannot but relax you in the shower or in the tub, and the body cream with its fluid and light texture leaves the skin so well-perfumed, revitalized and hydrated.
